iTEQC Program
A patient has her blood pressure checked as part of iTEQC's Mi Salud, Mi Vida (My Health, My Life) program.

Welcome to iTEQC, a research program called Translational Technologies Enhancing High Quality Care.

iTEQC is home to a group of scientists dedicated to the idea that patients deserve to be active players in decisions made about their care.

We are affiliated with the UC Irvine School of Medicine's Department of Medicine.

Our goal is to help patients become fully informed partners in the decision-making process, able to make the most optimal decisions for themselves.

To achieve this, iTEQC faculty members, fellows, students and staff members are conducting research projects as well as developing unique and innovative applications that are based on the best available evidence and information technologies.
